Young Pagans

Young Pagan Rants is a new blog that I found through one of my commentors on A Pagan Sojourn. The blog is written by five young pagans (in their teens and twenties) and will give us a new perspective on what it is like to be a Pagan. I was particularly taken with the perspective of a young, African American man that has decided that Paganism is his path despite what people say to him.

Labyrinths

Here are a few sites to explore more information about labyrinths:

What is a labyrinth?
You can learn to draw a labyrinth.
Wikipedia's article on labyrinths.
The Labyrinth Society
A handheld labyrinth
Interested in a labyrinth that you can take with you and set up any where?
To locate a labyrinth near you, check out the World-Wide Labyrinth Locator.

A Heathen Podcast

While I have yet to listen to it, I just found a Heathen podcast. Ravencast - The Asatru Podcast looks like it will be interesting with podcasts about Loki, ethics, and what it means to be a "newbie." I will be downloading these to my MP3 player for something to listen to on my trip.

Ritual Worksheet

While browsing for nothing in particular, I found this Ritual Creation Worksheet. 7 pages to map out the ritual as well as a section at the end to take notes afterward.

List of Deities

While I know that Wikipedia's information can sometimes be suspect and must be looked at with a critical eye, I found a listing of Gods and Goddesses of various paths and cultures. It is a great starting point for learning about any Gods that you want to learn more about. It is a huge list.

Goddess - Empanda

I've been looking up information about the Goddess Empanda (aka Empanada) who is the Roman Goddess of charity, generosity and hospitality. There does not seem to be much information about this Goddess on the internet. I will have to check some of my mythology books when I get them unpacked. Until then, here are some links that I have collected:

What Are Your Health Risks?

As Pagans seem to frequently talk about taking care of themselves, I thought that this would be good to share.

On their website, Harvard Center for Cancer Prevention has some questionnaires that you can answer to determine your level of risk for different cancers, heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis, and diabetes.

Books People Read

I love to find out what people are reading, what they intend to read, and what they recommend. Here are a few links to such lists.

Celtic Path - Their tribe's recommended reading list.
British Druid Order's reading list
A reading list at Witches Voice
Ancient Order of Druids - First and second degree reading lists

And of course, my newly created list of what I want to read now that I am done with school.

Celtic Tale

I want to highlight a great website of a group in Colorado who call themselves Tuatha. I have to admit that this group intrigues me and if I lived closer to them I would be contacting them to learn more about their group.

One of things that caught my eye is their reading list. (Surprise, Surprise) I will be added many of those books to my reading list as I am always looking for great books of this subject matter.

(Found through the blog, Little Heathen Fox)

Welcome!

I wanted a way to catalog Pagan (and other) links that I find without putting too many links up my main blog as well as losing the links within my bookmarks. Plus, this is a great way to share the links that I find with everyone!

If you know of any other great sites that should be highlighted here on this blog, please let me know. My email address is in my profile.
